(FFL) and Wendy, the Author & Speaker. As a professional Consultant, Community Relations & Strategic Engagement expert, Wendy has worked with many of the leading community-based organizations, small businesses and corporations in America; all while building a reputation of delivering service with a “plus.” Her consulting firm, Personal Services Plus (PSP) services its clients by helping them organize their affairs to achieve their overall goals related to: Community Relations, Strategic Engagement, Marketing, and Branding. As a certified coach, Wendy is a graduate of Antioch University Coaching Tools Program and offers Life, Legacy & Leadership Coaching. She recently launched “Season of Greatness,” (www.SeasonofGreatness.com) designed to help people discover and achieve their highest self.

A native of Southern California, Wendy received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). She is also a graduate of The Protocol School of Washington, certified and licensed to teach/coach International Protocol, Etiquette and Intercultural Understanding. Wendy's professionalism is extended through her membership in notable organizations including: International Coaching Federation (ICF), National Speakers Association (NSA), Screen Actors Guild (SAG), Center for Nonprofit Management (CNM), American Marriage Ministries, and the UCLA Black Alumni Board of Directors (UBAA), among others. Her reach also extends abroad as she participated in the UNCTAD Conference in Lyon, France and later was part of the China Trade Mission with the Upland Chamber of Commerce in 2005. She was selected by The Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles as an Ambassador of Goodwill and Global Relations to Israel in May of 2015; and in October of 2015, she traveled to South Korea with G.C.S. as a Goodwill Ambassador on behalf of California. For her achievements and commitment to community, she has been the recipient of several honors, including the “Women of Distinction Award” Certificate of Congressional Recognition twice by Congress Member Judy Chu & California State Assemblyman Chris Holden (in 2013 & 2016, respectively). She is also listed in “Who’s Who in Black Los Angeles.”

In spite of her adversities, which began early in childhood, Wendy is proof that attitude is everything and shares how to embrace happiness, experience joy, and live a fulfilled life through the power of forgiveness. Out of her past experiences of abuse and abandonment by her birth parents, and her triumph in overcoming them, Wendy founded Forgiving For Living, Inc., (www.forgivingforliving.org) a nonprofit organization that offers solutions and support related to issues that oftentimes require forgiveness. Additionally, she has written three books: “Healing Without Hate: How to Forgive to Live,” a workbook that provides uplifting strategies to overcome obstacles and find personal fulfillment, “The Preacher's Daughter: A Memory,” her autobiographical work about her journey to forgiveness and discovering its healing effects, and “Forgiveness: Change Your Life Forever.” Her next highly anticipated book, “Season of Greatness: Being a Leader That’s Seen, Heard, and Felt in the World” will be available early 2019.

The topic of “Forgiveness” is a central theme in Wendy’s writings and she has been a guest writer for many publications, including UPTOWN Magazine, and is a regular columnist for the Los Angeles Sentinel and the Inland Valley News. Contributing to her diverse media background, Wendy has hosted a local talk show, “Building Bridges with Wendy Gladney,” and was a weekly guest speaker every Thursday morning on KJLH 102.3 FM’s Front Page with Dominique DiPrima for many years. Additional topics include: rising above abuse and abandonment, bi-racial understanding & diversity, overcoming adversity, single parenting, building a business while balancing a life, management, and personal development (walking into your Season of Greatness).
